Sales and Customer Service

Full Time (On-site) – 8.45am-5pm (45 minute lunch break)
Salary: £25,000 OTE per annum.
Annual sales bonus based on achieving sales and marketing targets and KPI’s.

The Role

An important and pivotal role in the expansion of Hygiene Depot, your main responsibilities would be to drive sales whilst offering exceptional customer service and undertaking vital administrative tasks.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Customer Service & Account Management

  • Manage online and telephone orders, forms, applications and over the phone, email and website.
  • Cross-sell additional products to customers when processing orders. Carrying out product promotions on targeted sectors of the data base when required.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints, through balancing the needs of the customer with the objectives of the company.
  • Liaise with carriers regards to POD’s, collections and claims and record information where required.
  • Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource by communicating and coordinate with all internal departments.
  • Manage and cover multiple HD email inboxes.


Marketing Support

  • Identify prospective opportunities for you and the rest of the Sales Team and distribute for follow up.
  • Proactively encourage customers to order through the website, helping them with registering and selling the benefits.
  • Make outbound calls to maintain, increase and evaluate customer base
  • Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys when required.


Administration & Telephone

  • Deal directly with customers either by telephone, via the website, chat or by email. Answering incoming calls throughout the business.
  • Responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries, regarding our products and services.
  • Keep clear and concise notes of customer interactions and transactions


Education and Experience

  • GCSE’s (or equivalent). Further education preferable.
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Sales experience.
  • Competent with computers with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and a CRM system.
  • Experience of talking with customers and supporting their needs.
  • Organisational skills essential.
